Breathtaking views abound from this beautiful and immaculate home year-round on the Chain O’ Lakes - Dake in King, WI Waupaca. The lake is a quiet, NO WAKE, non-crowded with a shallow soft bottom--perfect lake for kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and fishing. You are a short boat ride away to access lakes that allow for speed boating, skiing and tubing. Due to the soft sand, we suggest using the local beach (10 minute drive) or a sand bar on the Chain for swimming. The space Book your getaway to relax and enjoy what Dake Lake can offer. In our "home away from home" we provide many of the amenities you would need--towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, utensils, dishes, pots and pans, Smart TVs, WIFI, DVDs, board games, puzzles and much more. A high chair and pack and play are available . This home was originally built with a traditional 1st floor master bedroom in mind. Instead of a master bedroom, we felt the need for an adjustment making it a game room. With this modification, it allows the full bathroom with walk-in shower for all guests. The game room has a poker table, Smart tv with a blue-ray DVD player and an assortment of DVDs. We have also stocked the closet with board games and puzzles. We have 3-bedrooms (all with queen size beds) located on the 2nd floor. There is a spacious bonus sleeping area off of the 2nd bedroom. This bonus room has 3-twin beds and a rollaway twin bed plus a baby changing table--makes for a nice family suite. The family room has an AMAZING view of Dake Lake. Beautiful cherrywood bookcases flank the gas log fireplace. With a simple touch of the remote, the fireplace will turn on offering a warm ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped with the usual suspects--electric oven/glass stove top burners, top freezer/bottom refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, countertop microwave. We have added a couple of fun items--an IKITCH ice maker and a designated coffee/tea/hot cocoa area--coffee pot/single serve, stove top kettle, electric kettle, hot cocoa machine (YES, a machine!!) along with various sweeteners, coffees and teas. Also, plenty of platters and items for your entertaining needs. The kitchen eating area can sit 6 and has picture windows with the lake view. The separate dining room has seating for 8 with a reading nook by the window. We have a Cooper's Hawk Grapevine Decanter available for the wine connoisseurs or for the rest of us just like gadgets. As wine is poured into the decanter it wraps around the glass bubble, aerating the wine and releasing the bouquet. The wine flows through a filter and then into the glass cone where it can be dispensed with ease. For times when the gang wants to eat together, we also provide a foldable banquet table with 8 folding chairs in the garage. In the lower level, there are 2-bedrooms; one with a queen size bed, the other with 2-sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4 kids/people under 100 lbs). Also in the lower level is a designated private office/study room with a desk and a sofa sleeper (sleeps 2). Full bathroom with a walk-in shower is accessible to our lower level guests. Please let us know if you plan on using the sofa sleeper so that we can provide fresh, clean linens. The game rooms (1st floor and lower level) are bound to keep all ages entertained with a pool table, ping pong table overlay, dice, board games and wet bar. The wet bar in the lower level is stocked with various glassware for beer, Moscow mules, wine and mixed drinks. A coffee maker was added for convenience. Long list of items available for you to enjoy--gas BBQ grill, fire pit, fishing poles, kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle boards, corn hole (popular Wisco game) and other outdoor games. Dake Lake is a 35-acre lake with a maximum depth of 26 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye. Take a short stroll or drive and spend the day in downtown Waupaca, visit one of the neighborhood restaurants or bars. Enjoy the live entertainment at Clearwater Harbor Restaurant and Bar, watch the Chain Skiers perform or book a narrated cruise touring Waupaca's Chain O’ Lakes during the summer months. Guest access A 4-digit code will be provided the day of check-in to unlock the front door. Other things to note For the safety of our guests and the security of our home, we have an external security camera located at the front door (Ring doorbell), (1) external Ring cameras directed toward the lake. Cameras are motion activated; not actively monitored.
