This unique cabin is located on a gated 30 acres at the waters edge on the South Fork of the New River. From the moment you drive across the low-water bridge that leads to the cabin, you'll know you have found a little piece of paradise. River's Edge is tucked away in the woods on the river. It's wooded in the back and the front has a small lawn area/river beach with a campfire ring perfect for the late evenings by the water. The cabin itself has a wraparound porch with charcoal grill, chairs and a picnic table on the front for eating outside. The hot tub is located around the far side of the cabin for extra privacy. Step inside and you'll walk past two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The hallway opens up into a well appointed kitchen and open great room area with a romantic fireplace. River's Edge is equipped with cable TV service for entertainment and a washer/dryer unit. The great room includes a sleeper sofa. Each room has been tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and accessories. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom also offers a queen-size bed. A Queen sleeper sofa is also located in the great room. This is a great property if you're looking to spend some time fishing, floating in the river or bicycling on Railroad Grade Road. Whether you're spending a weekend or a week, you won't want to go back home! Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery. If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee. - AWD or 4WD vehicles required in the winter months - Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - Please note this home has two exterior cameras on the property, one that faces the driveway and the other that faces the bridge. Additional Notes and Rules: • All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. • Firewood: You may purchase firewood for the outdoor firepit from us and have it delivered prior to your arrival. This service requires one-week notice prior to arrival, no exceptions. The cost for firewood is $25 per night, plus 12.75% tax. Each night purchased includes 2 small bundles (each bundle contains 6-8 pieces of wood) and 1 fire starter log. There is no refund for unused firewood. This will be paid using the Airbnb Resolution Center. • Towels and linens will be provided for you. • Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby. • Check in is after 4pm • Checkout by 10am • Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
