Quiet Stand Alone Cottage 1Dog Just Steps to Beach

Walk 2 short blocks to gorgeous path along the water and charming historic downtown with 35+ restaurants/take out/coffee shops, twice weekly Farmer's Market yet still a quiet neighborhood. 5 minute drive to Ferry direct to San Fran & 2 blocks to bus stop with easy access to all of the Bay Area. Bring the family to the hidden gem, Crab Cove Beach. Lots of open space and wildlife. Bring your kayak/SUP boards (store them here) and 3 walkable launches. Full Kitchen (gas) Washer/Dryer (free). The space This is your little home/office away from home. Multiple work-from-home spaces. Both bedrooms can accommodate a full size desk and office chair. Main bedroom: Sleep in a new-in-2020 queen bed with black-out blinds (in case you want to sleep in) and a 22" flat screen TV with Amazon Fire Stick (no cable). The 2nd bedroom is set up as an office with an adjustable stand-up/sit down workstation and twin-size daybed. The living room has an armchair, a love seat and can accommodate an air mattress. Hang out in the backyard hammock or on the cute front porch with Adirondack chairs and lovely garden. The patio area has comfy seating, a fire pit and colorful, overhead solar string-lights for enjoying the (generally) cool night air. Kitchen has a full-size Gas Range and microwave along with more than just the basics for cooking (but please let me know if there is something specific you are missing because I might have it available to share). If you are bringing bikes or other equipment, storage is available for your stuff in the garage. Guest access The fenced yard is shared with another house where I live (and sometimes a foster dog). The washer and dryer available for your use are in the garage under the main house. Feel free to help yourself to the laundry soap and supplies. You are welcome to store your luggage, sports equipment, kayak, SUP, etc in the garage under the main house as long as it fits in the 8'x12' designated area. We can make room outside for kayaks, etc that may not fit inside. Nearby Crab Cove Beach is a local, mostly unknown treasure with very shallow water and virtually no waves which makes it ideal for little ones making sand castles. A beautiful path along the water for biking, walks and wildlife observers starts only 1 block away. Sea lions and manta rays can occasionally be seen in the bay along the walking/biking path. Also very nearby is a place that offers paddle board rentals and paddle board yoga classes. Other things to note Parking in my neighborhood is free and generally easy (within about a block) without day or time restrictions. You must move your car every 3 days according to the law (only applies if a neighbor calls it in as abandoned). You can briefly park on the sidewalk in front of the driveway for loading and unloading. If you are bringing a service a animal please be sure to read Airbnb’s applicable policy.
