The space Cleaning Policies and House Rules We are happy you are staying with us as guests. We do want to point out that in this current social environment, Short-Term Booking Entities advise that we, along with you, take the following steps: We perform multiple cleaning steps between guests, including wiping down touched surfaces - such as door knobs, light switches, window locks, and counters. We use antibacterial and antiviral solutions for this purpose, including Formula 409. Remove shoes on entry to the house. We do not encourage outside visitors joining our guests while public rules regarding Social Distancing are advised. At check-out, strip used bed sheets and pillow cases and place them in the hamper next to the basement door. Current Community Regulations recommend that guests self-monitor for symptoms, follow advice of local authorities, and seek medical assistance if needed. Report any flu-like symptoms. We will not be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, so that we can maintain the expanded time window for the enhanced cleaning process. This 1,352 square ft. two story home is perched on a medium bank, which allows view of the Olympic Mountains. A gravel path allows private beach access and leads to a landing which is equipped with kayaks for your use. Wildlife frequently spotted include deer, rabbits, eagles, and seals. Living Room: Relax in a sun-filled space with a comfortable seating area. Sun Room: Dine with family and friends on the spacious farm table. Stretch out and nap or read a book on the sofa. The four large windows in this room feature adjustable-height remote controlled shutters. Kitchen: Full kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop, oven, and dishwasher. Instant hot water, EcoWater reverse osmosis filtered and purified water in the kitchen, coffee maker, and toaster for your convenience. Plates, cups, utensils, cooking tools, and a rice cooker are also available for your cooking needs. Bedrooms: The master bedroom is situated on the entry level, and contains a queen bed and seating. The remaining two bedrooms are on the second level, and have beautiful views of the bay. One bedroom upstairs has a queen bed while the other has three single beds. Closet space and hangers are available. Yard: In front, enjoy a green lawn, fruit trees & spacious driveway. When in season, feel free to pick blackberries, apples, and pears for your consumption. In the backyard, enjoy the waterfront view from the lawn. There is a propane gas grill for a patio BBQ to enjoy under a wooden pergola that shoulders climbing roses & string lights. There is a fire pit near the house to keep warm with friends and family . Beach and Landing: Walk down a private path to the lower bank where you will find access to the beach and another fire pit. Bring your bathing suits for a cold swim, and at night look for trails of bioluminescence in the dark water during the warmer summer months. You will also find a boathouse with 6 kayaks for your use to paddle around the tranquil bay. Life jackets are provided. Guest access You have access to the entire house, and beach. Other things to note Since we are surrounded by woods, you may hear animals at night. Also, the gravel path down to the boathouse is quite steep, and can be a challenge for some! Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Please note that exceeding the number of guests allowed on the listing, holding events or parties, and or breaking house rules can result in a claim on your security deposit. The claim would be used to cover costs associated with damages and extra cleaning. Please be respectful of the property and our neighbors.
