The space The Home at the Train Switchyard has been described to me as very comfortable, like Grandma’s house. If you like trains, then you will like this house, the switch yard is still very active and you can hear them switching the train cars. All within an enjoyable short walk, the pool and park are welcoming to families, as is Main street which is home to many art galleries, unique shops, restaurants, the swinging bridge river walk, and train and motorcycle museums. Helper is full of historic charm, and the golf course is one of the best in the state. Carbon and Emery Counties are an outdoorsman’s dream, all good for a day trip from the house. Situated about 120 miles from both Moab (southeast) and Salt Lake (north), Helper is the hub for all your adventures. Important to note: gas stove in living room is very hot to the touch. Other things to note Front bedroom has an adjustable bed. Bedroom lamps are charging stations. Coffee table lifts and adjusts to serve as desk or work area.
