Hillside Cottage is a charming 18th-century period cottage in the heart of picturesque Bourton-on-the-Hill, a short distance from Moreton-in-Marsh. With four king size bedrooms, a sofa-bed, and two modern bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 9 and is perfect for groups of friends or large families. The characterful cottage has exposed beams throughout and beautiful Cotswold stone as an internal feature. Recently renovated, the spacious home has modern facilities, giving a contemporary classic feel. The space Nestled just a few minutes' drive from the bustling market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, this beautifully restored cottage is the perfect base for your Cotswolds getaway. The cottage seamlessly blends modern comforts with its original historic features. Inside, the ground floor is entirely dedicated to relaxing and socialising, offering a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen with ample room to cook, eat, and gather together. Outside, guests enjoy exclusive use of a private garden, accessed via a short shared pathway. Complete with a patio, comfortable outdoor furniture, and a large modern BBQ, it is an idyllic setting for al fresco dining and evening drinks. As a traditional Cotswold cottage, this home is full of historic charm—including characterful low beams and steep stairs, so please do watch your step! It’s the perfect retreat for up to nine guests, offering four spacious bedrooms (all with king-size beds) and an additional large sofa bed. Every bed is prepared with crisp, hotel-quality cotton linens, and plenty of fluffy towels are provided. You'll also have access to a stunning family bathroom and a private master en-suite, both thoughtfully supplied with eco-friendly toiletries. On arrival guests will be welcomed by a delicious hamper, including locally sourced wine from Poulton Hill vineyard and Cotswold fudge. Enjoy! Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property. Well behaved pets are allowed on request. Please give details when making your booking to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee of £30 per pet. Cot & high chair available if requested for additional £15 per item or £25 for both. (Please note, no linen is supplied with the travel cot) Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Please try to give as much notice as possible with your arrival time and update on the day with any changes / delays. Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests. Other things to note The village is located approx 1.5 miles outside Moreton-in-Marsh and is home to the Batsford Arboretum and the award winning Horse & Groom pub. Additionally the Heart of England Way passes through the village, giving a great opportunity for a stopover!
