Hillside Cottage is a charming 18th-century period cottage in the heart of picturesque Bourton-on-the-Hill, a short distance from Moreton-in-Marsh. With four king size bedrooms, a sofa-bed, and two modern bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 9 and is perfect for groups of friends or large families. The characterful cottage has exposed beams throughout, and beautiful Cotswold stone as an internal feature. Recently renovated, the spacious home has modern facilities, giving a contemporary classic feel. The space Our beautiful cottage is only a few minutes drive from popular Moreton-in-Marsh and is a fantastic base from which to explore all the Cotswolds has to offer. We have renovated the cottage throughout, whilst maintaining the majority of its original features. The downstairs layout allows for plenty of cooking and socialising space all year round, with a large reception room, a fully equipped kitchen including large dining table. Outside, the garden has a patio and outdoor furnishing, suitable for both drinks and dining. There is also a large modern BBQ for guests to use. Guests will have access to the whole property, including exclusive use of the garden. The short path to the garden is shared with our neighbours. Comfortably sleeping 9 guests, with four bedrooms, all king size beds, plus one large sofa bed. All bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, and fluffy towels for each guest. There is a stunning family bathroom and separate en-suite in the master bedroom, with eco-friendly toiletries. On arrival guests will be welcomed by a delicious hamper, including locally sourced wine from Poulton Hill vineyard and Cotswold fudge. Enjoy! As this is a traditional Cotswold cottage, there are some low beams and steep stairs, so please be careful. Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property. Well behaved pets are allowed on request. Please give details when making your booking to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee of £30 per pet. Cot & high chair available if requested for additional £15 per item or £25 for both. (Please note, no linen is supplied with the travel cot) CHECK IN Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Please try to give as much notice as possible with your arrival time and update on the day with any changes / delays. CHECK OUT Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests. Other things to note The village is located approx 1.5 miles outside Moreton-in-Marsh and is home to the Batsford Arboretum and the award winning Horse & Groom pub. Additionally the Heart of England Way passes through the village, giving a great opportunity for a stopover!
