Built between 1885 and 1891, the building originally served as a carriage house. Jennifer's Joynt may be in an old building, but the things that matter are new- mattresses, bedding and towels; and amenities such as Keyless entry, Wi-fi, smart TV, and Bluetooth speaker are provided. Once settled in, there is a lot of shopping within walking distance. The owners live in the main house on the property. The apartment has private parking in the back alley. We will be available to our guests if they need us, but we will respect their privacy. We love meeting new people, so we will leave it up to our guests how much interaction we have. We are located on West Main Street in Historic Downtown Lock Haven. Our neighborhood is relatively quiet, but we're only two blocks away from all the action. In the warmer months, guests can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants that provide outdoor seating. There are live concerts on weekends at 3 venues within walking distance. There are a few places to buy scooped & soft serve ice cream. The Roxy movie Theater has three theaters and only costs $8 a ticket. Some guests may prefer relaxing on the private patio while gazing at the stars with a cup of hot tea or beverage of choice. Many local restaurants deliver or use Door Dash, some host live entertainment- there is a lot of flexibility. The downtown also started a Saturday morning Farmer's Market from 9AM-Noon! The public library is two blocks in the other direction from town. The entrance to the apartment is within the fenced-in backyard of the main house. There is a trampoline and above-ground pool in the backyard. We ask that guests refrain from using the backyard, other than to come and go. There are playgrounds within walking distance from the apartment, as well as a lovely river walk. There is also a bike path approximately 1 mile away. Please let hosts know if you will need a pack-n-play and / or high chair. There is a $25 fee for each additional guest over six. NO CLEANING FEE.
