COTTAGE ON THE GREEN, is a stunning Cottage nestled in the picturesque heart of Austwick, it's a great location to base yourself to explore the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas by car, cycle or on foot. The cottage is right next door to a Traditional Yorkshire Dales Pub ‘The Game Cock’, and a short walk to the award-winning hotel and restaurant The Traddock The space This stylishly furnished three bedroom cottage set over two floors is full of character and charm throughout, featuring a spacious lounge with window seat, leather couches, a stone fire place with cosy Log Burning Stove, free view TV, Netflix and Wifi. Next to the lounge is the Dining Room complete with a table for 6 and a well-equipped kitchen diner also located on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find three comfortable, light and airy carpeted bedrooms (2 of the bedrooms can be adapted to either super kings or twin beds, with zip and link pocket coil sprung mattresses, (PLEASE SPECIFY WHEN BOOKING.) The third bedroom is a double bed, bed linen and towels are included **Please Note** Bedroom 1 - Super King with Coil pocket sprung Mattress (can be made into 2 singles) with En suite bathroom Bedroom 2 - Double Bed with Coil pocket sprung Mattress Bedroom 3 - 2 x Twin Beds with Coil pocket sprung Mattresses Two Bathrooms with walk in/overhead shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail (one en suite to the bedroom that can be a twin or super king) There is a pleasant walled garden with seating area to the rear, with gate, (accessed via six steps) which backs on to the open countryside that surrounds the cottage. With its original beams and feature stone fireplace with wood burning stove, this gives a cosy country feel in the heart of a great location. Ideal for couples and families looking for a weekend retreat who would like the option to explore the countryside or visit Tourist Attractions. Other things to note Pets : Please tell us, when you request your booking, if you hope to bring your pet. We are pleased to accept pets in the downstairs hard floored areas. We do not however permit pets upstairs and sleeping on beds to ensure the comfort of all our guests. Soiled/dog hairy bedding will be charged at £15 per room and soiled carpets from pet accidents £25 per room. Owners Paul and Kerri (brother & sister), who purchased and renovated the cottage in 2020, after it was empty for four years, are happy to provide visitors to the area a high standard of accommodation. The views from the back windows of the cottage give a magnificent view of the limestone scenery in the Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
