The Park: A wooded park sweeps over the slopes of surrounding hills with large lawns and flowerbeds, and wide paths for a relaxing stroll in the gardens. The park resembles a botanical garden filled with mature trees of every type:  holly oak, sequoia, oak and chestnut trees. Particularly impressive are some of the huge trees that include a copper beech, an umbrella holly oak, and several pine trees over 95 feet tall.   Other things to note Beekeeping 1944: war front along the Gothic line, civil war in northern Italy, evacuation from the cities.  In this context, a boy divided his time between school and his innate love of country life.  He was given a beehive to care for and this sparked a passion that still lives on today at Villa Nonaro: beekeeping and honey extraction. The family apiaries are open to visitors for guided tours to observe the queen bees, workers, and drones and bee colony behaviour. - Guided tasting of the honeys produced on the estate.
