Seafarer Cottage - Bay Views in Downtown Poulsbo

The many attractions of Historic Downtown Poulsbo are just steps away when you make the Seafarer's Cottage your getaway destination. Perched above Front Street, on 4th Avenue, the home boasts expansive west-facing views of the Olympic Mountains, Liberty Bay, and the bustling harbor and downtown. Use this as your home base to discover other parts of the area; from Bainbridge Island, to quaint Port Gamble and the Olympic Peninsula, we're ideally situated to explore all the region has to offer. The space Built in the 1920's, this sweet vintage house has so much character! Situated across the street from the historic Poulsbo First Lutheran Church, the hourly tolling of the church bells provides a lovely, old-world feeling. (Don't worry, the bells aren't too loud, and they don't ring early in the morning or late at night!) The Cottage has been thoughtfully appointed in an elegant, yet casual style, with guests' comfort in mind. The gracious deck is the perfect place to relax and take in a glorious sunset; while the warm and inviting living area invites you kick back with a good book, or gather 'round for a rollicking game night. The cozy kitchen features new stainless appliances, and is well-stocked for preparing delicious meals. The built-in dinette offers a snug place to grab a bite, while the dedicated dining room offers a more generous table for six. The two main bedrooms feature queen-sized memory foam mattresses, in a wonderful medium-firm density. The feather down pillows and comforters top-off the cozy and restful foundation for slumber. Between the two bedrooms is a shared jack-and-jill closet that has ample shelving, space for hanging clothes, and luggage racks for suitcases. The third, bonus bedroom is much smaller, with a full-size bed in the corner to preserve floor space. Please note that there is no clothes storage in this smaller bedroom. Every effort has been made to create a welcoming and comfortable space for guests to make memories together, with an eye for design that both looks and feels good. Please do keep in mind, however, that this is an old house with quirks and some patina. Guest access Guests have access to the main level of the Cottage, along with the deck and yard. There is no guest access to the walk-out basement, or the garage. Other things to note Please note that there is no washer and dryer available in the guest space. Village Laundromat is located just a short drive away on Seventh Ave.
