Top floor suite in Century Home downtown Goderich

You are invited to enjoy the entire private top floor suite in our gorgeous century home with a huge wrap-around porch in the heart of Goderich, "the prettiest town in Canada" on the shores of Lake Huron. 5 minute walk to sunset views over the bluff and all the shops and restaurants in the town square. 15 minute walk to the Main Beach or the spectacular Menesetung Bridge. This is a perfect launching point for Ontario's West Coast! The space This beautiful Queen Anne style home was built in 1900 and was fully renovated after a tornado in 2011. It is now furnished in mid-century modern decor. With lofty ceilings and large windows, it is spacious and bright, and if you open a window, you can feel the breeze off the lake flowing right through. The third floor suite is a large open room with a two twins, side by side (like a King, but shorter). No door on that room. There is a queen bed in the private room off of the suite area. The main area is versatile, it is great for games, watching TV on the large screen and enjoying a morning coffee. We recommend walking to see the sunset, but you can also watch the sunset from the window seat. The third floor has a coffee nook, a Keurig, tea kettle and a mini fridge. There are a few dishes and cups, but no cooking or microwave. The restaurants in Goderich are amazing! However, we do offer guests the use of the BBQ and the porch. Main kitchen can be shared on request. The backyard includes a fire pit. Guest access Guests have access to the third floor (PRIVATE SUITE,PRIVATE WASHROOM) shared entrance, veranda, back yard, back porch and fire pit. Our interaction will only be if you need us for something as we know our guests enjoy their privacy. We enjoy meeting guests and hosting, and you can prebook a shared breakfast in the main part of the home with us. The beautiful main kitchen can be shared on special request. During your stay We will be accessible over phone (we will leave a mobile contact number at the house) or over Airbnb throughout the duration of your stay, and are more than happy to provide suggestions and answer questions throughout. We only host one set of guests at at time, you have access to the entire PRIVATE third floor suite. To access the suite you enter through the front door (key code) and walk through our home. The suite is two sets of stairs up, on the third floor. We love hosting. You are welcome to join us for breakfast, pre-booking required. This is a quiet residential neighborhood - no parties or loud gatherings, especially in the backyard and on the porch. No smoking. The house has lots of stairs, even getting up to the main floor.
