Newly Renovated Historic Mill Village Cottage

Built in 1901, the restoration on this home was completed in 2020. Set in Tupelo's Mill Village the neighborhood is unique in location, history and feel. Tupelo's Mill Village adjoins downtown making this home a very short walk to downtown! Just a block from Relics Antique Market, it is less than 10 minutes to Main Street and less than 15min walk to Fairpark. The space The restoration of this home kept as many original details as possible while updating for easy use in 2020! The house is about 1100 square feet but feels larger and quite open thanks to the 11' ceilings. The kitchen includes a dining room table that will seat up to 10 people and has all new appliances. The kitchen, entry way and living room are three rooms but have a very open feel. The windows throughout the house are much larger than standard windows allowing for great light. The living room has a new sofa (that pulls out to a queen bed), an oversized chair where we spend lots of time when we are here and working gas fireplace. Sleeping arrangements include: * Living Space - a new sofa with a queen pull out * Bedroom One - double bed * Bedroom Two - two single beds There is one bathroom, also completely updated in 2020, with a refurbished clawfoot tub. There is onsite parking. We provide both a traditional coffee pot and a Keurig. We provide some filters as well and often coffee. We have lots of staples in the house and you are welcome to use what is here. PETS: Pets are welcome. There is a $50 pet fee and we ask that pets not be left unattended. We do ask that you pick up after your pet so our yard and space are clean for the next guests. Guest access Keypad access. Other things to note Traveling with Children? We have a Pack and Play and stroller available for your use as well as a cabinet (under TV) with toys. At this point, they are a bit car/truck focused but also have puzzles, colors, books. blocks, etc.
