The Neighborhood: There are a lot of Historic buildings as most the neighborhood was built around the 1900's. While many buildings and houses have been renovated and look almost new, some need work or are in the process of a major renovation. At the center of the neighborhood is a park named after Kentucky's first governor, Isaac Shelby. The park has tennis courts, basketball, a playground, a splash park, and a half mile long running/walking track. No smoking No pets No parties or events Late check out fee is at $75/hour There's a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors No weapons or firearms allowed of any sort. Violators will be reported to police and the contract will be immediately terminated. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen and traditionally this was managed via a security deposit by the guest or by the owner charging the guest for damages. This is highly unpleasant and puts a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. With our “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage by the guest up to $1,500 is covered unless it’s specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be: 1. 22 years old for out of town guests 2. 25 years old for local guests No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule. Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am each day.
