Dream Historic Home! Charmingly Restored Victorian

This amazing 1905 beautifully restored Art Deco Victorian home features a brand new kitchen, baths, refinished floors, restored woodwork and plaster, with fantastic stained and leaded glass windows, oak pocket doors, gorgeous antiques, high ceilings, coziness, full of charm, awesome hosts, and a great location! Our place is good for couples, families, friends gathering for some together time, and anyone who wishes to have an 'upscale historical experience' in one of Elgin's gems! The space This 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath historical home has been fully restored and is absolutely stunning! Gorgeous new kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, new bathrooms with dual-vanity in upstairs full bath, formal dining room with seating for 6, flat-panel HD TV in living room w/cool fireplace, full basement with seating area/hang-out place/extra sleeping quarters w/full-size futon. Washer & Dryer on-site. Enclosed private back-yard, awesome dual-decker historical porches for relaxing... a historical home experience few ever get to enjoy! Please bring your slippers or clean shoes as we do not allow outside shoes in this beautiful home with hardwood floors and gorgeous period area rugs. We do require that all adults (18 or over) that come into our home are added to the reservation, are ID verified with Airbnb or their ID's are uploaded to the Airbnb messaging platform. These are kept private unless there is some issue at the house that we need to deal with. Please let us know if you have any questions. Guest access Guests get full access to the entire house and parking for 2 cars behind the garage. The garage itself is not available. We do not allow parties or guests to invite anyone not on the reservation over to our home. Please make sure all guests are added to your reservation and ID Verified through Airbnb when booking. No one will be allowed in the house that is not on the reservation. We do allow one up to 15 lb. hypo-allergenic dog (dogs with hair, not fur and do not shed like Poodles are hypo-allergenic) for an extra charge. We do not allow cats. Please send us an inquiry if you have any questions! Other things to note Our home is beautifully decorated with some period antique furniture. It is a great place to gather and relax. It is quiet and a very residential neighborhood. As such we do not allow parties or anyone to be invited over to the home that is not on the reservation and ID verified. If you would like to have a special event of some kind please contact the host and see about making arrangements. There may be an extra charge depending on the situation.
