Welcome to our vacation home! Feel at home in our lovingly furnished apartment and make yourself comfortable. The apartment is centrally located in the center of Jonsdorf in our newly renovated timber-framed house on the ground floor and offers enough space for 4 adults. It has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each as well as a cozy living / dining area and a fully equipped open kitchen. The space In one of the smallest low mountain ranges in Europe, in the southeasternmost tip of Saxony, you will find the most beautiful part of Upper Lusatia, the Zittau Mountains along the border between Saxony and the Czech Republic. Our pretty, small town with its pleasant climate and picturesque surrounding houses is worth a trip at any time of the year. Enjoy the spring awakening in the mountains, mild summer days or colorful autumn forests, while hiking, climbing, cycling or swimming, there is something for everyone. Even in winter, young and old can let off steam to their heart's content while skiing, ice skating, winter hiking or tobogganing. Let yourself be spoiled by the culinary delights in the numerous eateries in our town and the surrounding area. To explore the beautiful Zittau Mountains, many hiking trails go directly from the house in all directions such as to Waltersdorf, Oybin, Großschönau or to neighboring Czechia with all its charms. Numerous leisure activities are provided, for swimming in the mountain pool Jonsdorf or at Lake Olbersdorf. Berzdorfer Lake is also worth a trip. Paddle tours on the Neisse for the whole family. Cycling on the Mandau or mountain biking in the mountains. Excursions to Zittau, Görlitz and Bautzen for shopping or a historical tour, such as visiting the large Lenten cloth! For all railway enthusiasts, a ride on the historic narrow-gauge railway is always an experience! Day trips to Dresden or Prague are also possible. We warmly welcome you! Other things to note Upon arrival, a tourist tax of €1.40 per person/day will be charged. Children from 15 to 17 years of age pay €0.70 per person/day. Children up to 14 years are free. Tourist tax is to be paid on site on arrival in cash.
