Description

PoconosLogCabin "Valhalla River Haven" - where HGTV filmed a Christmas episode in 2020. Valhalla is 7000 sf with an English Pub in the Kitchen area and an 18' Irish bar in the game room (with pool table, shuffleboard, foosball and poker table)! Valhalla is on 2 acres bordering the Lehigh Gorge State Park, River Trail and Lehigh River - decks, fire pit, game room, a large great room (kitchen, dining and living room where everyone can be together) and real wood burning fireplace. The space New to Airbnb - May 2023 PoconosLogCabin "Valhalla River Haven" was built in 2020 and has been featured on HGTV! A 7,000 sf log cabin with large, open common areas - perfect for large groups and families! We built our dream cabin for large groups and families and are so pleased to share it with you! Valhalla has 2 bars (an English Pub upstairs and an 18' Irish Bar in the game room). Large open spaces for entertaining and spreading out. 7 enclosed bedrooms plus 2 more sleeping areas (loft and game room) and 22 beds. Notes - A $1000 refundable security will be added to all reservations. We want guests to get it all back, we do not want damages but we've found that when guests prepay a security, they take better care of the property and it stays in better shape for everyone to enjoy. A Guest Agreement (which we will send you) is also required for each reservation. Linens - you may bring your own, or for $265 we will rent them for you from Pocono Linens Some recent reviews (from other platforms) Joe B reviewed Valhalla I had an exceptional stay at this property and can’t recommend it highly enough! The home is wonderfully maintained and offers a clean, stylish interior that made us feel right at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully arranged, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout our visit. Lance and Lisa were outstanding hosts. Their attentiveness and extensive knowledge about the area made our stay seamless and enjoyable. They were accommodating and helpful at every turn, which truly enhanced our experience. This property is ideal for hosting a reunion or enjoying a relaxing weekend getaway. The spacious layout and inviting atmosphere provide a great setting for any gathering. Additionally, it offers fantastic value, making it a smart choice for both small and larger groups. Overall, this property delivers on all fronts—excellent home, outstanding hosts, and great value. It’s definitely worth considering for your next trip! (8/15 – 8/18/24) Brian M reviewed Valhalla My friends and I have a tradition of gathering for the opening weekend of March Madness. This year, we decided to rent Valhalla. It was amazing. Plenty of room for 20+ grown men. The house is beautiful. And, Lance and Lisa, also helped us with a Pig Roast! If you've found this house, look no further. You won't be disappointed! 3/16 – 3/20/24 Mert P reviewed Valhalla Great venue for a large group. We held our annual Naval Academy Company reunion at Valhalla. Lots of cooking and eating space with two refrigerators. Lance and Lisa were extremely helpful before during and after the event. Very reasonably priced for what the cabin offers. We are having our reunion next year at Valhalla again. Booked it for 2025 the day after we left. (8/2 – 8/4/24) Alex E reviewed Valhalla This cabin in the Poconos was straight fire! The place was massive and decked out with everything we needed—perfect for a crew looking to kick back and party. The views were sick, and the vibe was just right. Lance and Lisa, the hosts, were absolute legends. We had a hiccup with our white water rafting plans, and they actually got us half our money back. Can’t beat that kind of hospitality. If you’re looking to chill or throw down in the Poconos, definitely hit up this spot. You won’t regret it! (7/25 – 7/28/24) Ernie B reviewed Valhalla The Valhalla cabin is a great place for large groups. Everyone loved the place! Easily and comfortably allowed 30 men to get away for the weekend. A huge game room on 1st floor with a beautiful bar. Great kitchen and living room for cooking, eating & lounging on 2nd floor. Conveniently located to all the Poconos has to offer. For 32 yrs straight we've been doing this and Poconos Log Cabin offers great houses to fit all sized groups. The owners make it easy and are helpful. We will rent again from them next year. 1/27 – 1/29/23 Some first reviews from 2020 Brandon T reviewed Valhalla Absolutely incredible! I don't know where to start. We booked Valhalla and the pictures don't do it justice. Our group went down there for NYE weekend and we barely left the house. We spent most of our time in the basement which has the best bar I have ever seen in a home. At one point we had 6 different games going on in the basement- it was so much fun. We had 20+ people in the house and you would never be able to know it's so big. The house is nestled into the woods for the ultimate private getaway. It's so pretty that our group went on a two hour hike around the house one morning and just enjoyed the nature! Lance and Lisa were beyond awesome to work with and so accommodating. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay at the house was perfect. If you're looking for a place to rent in the Poconos- anytime of the year- this house is it. No question! (12/21/20 - 1/3/21) Bob K reviewed Valhalla Amazing Thanksgiving stay - My family stayed at the brand new Valhalla cabin over the Thanksgiving weekend. What an amazing stay. The cabin was immaculate and huge. We loved the huge fireplace in the main family room, and also the outside fire pit. You can hear the running waters of the Lehigh River from the cabin. One of the great features of the cabin is the downstairs recreation room. Our son and his girlfriend and our daughter and her boyfriend spent the majority of the stay hanging there. It has a huge Irish Bar, a poker table, a pool table, and assorted other games. What a great party room. It is just a short walk through the woods to the Lehigh River Gorge state park walking trail. We hiked everyday down the trail, taking in the amazing views of the Lehigh River. With the hiking trail and river right outside our cabin, the fire pit, and the beautiful cabin's upstairs and downstairs living areas, plus the huge tv above the fireplace to watch the football games, we wound up never leaving the cabin. Lance and Lisa were amazing hosts, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even had our Thanksgiving dinner catered for us, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning for another stay soon, I can't imagine a better place to stay when in the Poconos.
