Urban Sanctuary Near UW - Oasis Room

Greetings! I manage a large, communally-oriented house in Beechwood, Waterloo, close to UW, along with some housemates. The house is a wellness sanctuary modelled in the spirit of an 𝑎𝑠ℎ𝑟𝑎𝑚, so as part of that, there's a Yoga/meditation space, sauna and steam shower, a library/board game/art/music room, gym equipment with rowing machine, a friendly dog, ample greenery, bird feeders, spiritual/inspirational artwork, aromatherapy, and plenty else! A beautiful retreat type of atmosphere! The space This listing is for a private bedroom located on the upper level of the house, near the Greek-themed bathroom. We have quiet hours of about 10 pm - 8 am, and a general ethic of personal responsibility (being mindful to clean up after oneself, most especially in the kitchen and bathrooms). In the shared kitchen, there's usually a decent selection of communally shared fruit, nuts/seeds, bread/bagels, jams/spreads, cereals/pancake mix, milk, coffee/tea, etc., so feel free to help yourself to breakfast, snacks and drinks as you'd like! Guest access Typically most of common spaces at the house are at your disposal for use :) During your stay Most often there are 3-4 other people available throughout the day. Feel free to engage with us, we're all very friendly. You can of course keep to yourself and that's perfectly fine! Other things to note Please note that this is a communally-oriented house, so too much activity after quiet hours (like working nights) has proven disruptive to housemates in the past. Also please be mindful of Majnun, making sure to close the door behind you that our resident dog doesn't bolt outside! He's very affectionate and friendly (though does like to sneakily steal socks/shoes at times!). Feel free to take Majnun for a walk (though maybe ask his permission first!) :)
