The space Manzanita Sunrise is a 2 story duplex home, each level with a separate entry from the outside. This listing is for the Upstairs 1 Bedroom unit with fully equipped kitchen, dining area with large dining table, living area with high vaulted ceilings, 2 large recliner chairs, smart TV, and a fireplace. This unit was recently upgraded with central AC and heater, dishwasher and window coverings to take advantage of all around gorgeous views. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch sunrise over the mountains from the comfort of your home. After all the activities you will find a king size bed with luxurious newer mattress in a separate bedroom for good night sleep. The bathroom has a shower and clawfoot bathtub. There is a view from every room in the house, which combined with with the high vaulted ceilings creates a very spacious feeling. There is a large , wrap around west facing balcony with set of Adirondack chairs, perfect for watching sunset, and a bench at lookout point for watching the sunrise. This truly unique property offers peace and serenity with 360 degree view. Downstairs apartment has its own entry and can be rented separate. If you prefer complete privacy we can block downstairs unit from other guests for a small nightly fee when available. Please inquire prior your booking. Only 7 min drive to Main Street with restaurants and shops. Guest access Short part of Manzanita drive leading to the house is uphill dirt with gravel covered road. You will need high ground clearance vehicle to drive up this last lag of the road (most midsize cars and SUVs are ok). Easier parking is right on Manzanita drive, the street above the house. Guests are welcome to park there. We have a private parking space which can accommodate 2 cars with stairs down leading to the house. If you parked on the street to turn around travel down Manzanita drive, pass the next house where there is an empty lot where you can turn around. In addition there 2 parking spaces on the driveway - one all the way down and another one as you go down driveway immediately on your right. If you parked at the end of driveway you would need to make multi turn around to drive out. If you parked on the right side space you would need to be able to back up to Manzanita. This might be challenging for some vehicles backing in or out of the driveway. Please note there is a downstairs studio apartment with its own entry and can be rented separate. Both units have their own patio space and own entrance. There is no couch in the living room, but we have a sitting arrangement with 2 large leather recliner chairs and one longe chair. During winter, there may be heavy snow storm that may lead to cancelations outside of my control. We are on a private road so conditions may not be safe to drive up to. The water heater panel is located in the upstairs entry closet. When there is no hot water and panel display flashing you should Press and Hold the On/Off button for 10 seconds. This action will reset the water heater.Wait for the Reset to Complete: After holding the reset button for 10 seconds, release it and wait for a moment to allow the water heater to reset. Note: If the water heater panel continues to flash due to high water flow (e.g., running several faucets or showers at the same time), please reduce the water usage until the panel stops flashing. This will allow the water heater to operate normally. The Manzanita Sunrise is in a very quiet neighborhood off the dead end street. It sits on our 1/2 own acre private hillside overlooking mountains. Thought the neighborhood is very quiet, occasionally one might hear people's voices or dogs barking.
