Red Mountain Cabin at Beyul Retreat

Beyul Retreat is a creative hub of art, outdoor adventure, music & more located 1 hour from Aspen, CO. Escape to the mountains at this inspiring destination where you'll enjoy this cabin for a cozy space that sleeps 2. Guests have access to on-site hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge. This cabin is dog friendly for $50/dog/night. The dog fee is NOT included in your airbnb price. The dog fee will be charged upon arrival at Beyul Retreat. The space FOOD: Please bring along the groceries that you need to cook for yourself for your stay including oils and spice. There is also a grill located on the side of The Main Lodge that guests are welcome to use. On-Site Bodega: has snacks, pasta, sauces, quick meals, granola, beer, wine, drinks and more available for purchase. Nearest Grocery: Whole Foods and City Market, in Willits, are an hour away. Nearest Restaurants: There are many restaurants located in Basalt 45 minutes away. GETTING HERE: Address: 26604 Frying Pan Rd, Meredith, CO 81642. We suggest pulling up directions on your phone before leaving Basalt, as there is no cell service after that. Driving Directions From Basalt: Head east on Midland Ave toward Basalt Center Circle, Continue onto Frying Pan Rd until Mile 26. Frying Pan Rd is a paved road all the way to Beyul. Turn right to enter Beyul Retreat. Please drive slowly on your way, especially through the towns of Meredith and Thomasville to respect our neighbors. Winter Driving: Frying Pan Road is OPEN and plowed all year round. A car with AWD/4WD is required in the winter. If you do end up getting stuck on site in a 2WD vehicle during winter, we’ll be able to help tow you out for a $100 fee. During summer & fall (May - October): 2WD vehicles are no problem at all. Distance To Aspen: 1 hour Distance To Glenwood: 1 hour 15 minutes Distance to Vail: 2 hours Distance to Denver: 4 hours CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Check-in time: Between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. If you plan to arrive after our front desk closes at 6pm, that's not a problem -- we will leave a note on the front desk for you with your name and some info along with your key and a property map. Check-out time: 10:30am. If you desire a late check-out and your room is available, a half-day room rate will apply up to 6pm. A full day rate will apply to guests wishing to depart after 6pm. Keys: Please return them to the front desk at check out. Lost keys will incur a $50 fee. WIFI: We have satellite internet available in the Main Lodge that also allows wifi calling. It is strong enough to support zoom video calling. Please note, there is no cell service or internet access in the cabins or on Frying Pan Road that leads you to Beyul Retreat. Network: Hiddenlands Password: getoutside PET POLICY: Please alert us prior to arrival if you will be bringing a pet and we’ll add them to your reservation! Dogs: Welcome in our older cabins for $50/night/pet and our two newer cabins Aspen Lodge & Mountain View for $100/night/pet. Dogs are unfortunately not permitted to stay overnight in the Lodge Rooms out of respect for other guests staying in The Main Lodge. EXTRA GUESTS: Pull Out Bedding: If your cabin has a pull out couch and you will be using it, please let us know before arrival or at check-in and we’ll make sure you’re all set with extra bedding. WHAT TO BRING: Packing: We recommend bringing extra layers of clothing, a bathing suit for our hot tub and sauna, slippers, headlamps, books and board games for cozy evenings around the fire. We also have trails onsite, so bring your adventure shoes! AMENITIES (year-round): Sauna, Hot Tub & Cold Plunge: Available for use by all guests 24/7. We do ask that you please respect the quiet hours of 10:30pm - 9:30am. Our hot tub is cleaned once weekly, and will not be available for use during the cleaning and reheating hours. We apologize for the inconvenience! On-Site Trails: Enjoy a nice walk or a fun hike with the on-site winding trails that take you throughout the property. These can be found and are marked on the property map which is also in The Beyul Book that will be in your room or cabin. Keep a lookout for art installations along your way! AMENITIES (Summer): Outdoor Showers: Available for use by all guests 24/7. We do ask that you please respect the quiet hours of 10:30pm - 9:30am. Paddle Boards: Free for use on-site on our ponds, and available for rent to take off the property for $75/day. Popular destinations for paddle boarding include Chapman Reservoir and Ruedi Reservoir. AMENITIES (Winter): Snowshoes: Available for rent at $10/pair/day. Great for exploring the property and surrounding forest. Ice skates: Varying sizes available at $10/pair/day. These can be used at the on-site skating pond. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Cancellations for 1 room or cabin will be accepted without charges 72 hours before your arrival date. Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to your arrival date will be charged the full reservation fee. For two cabin bookings, please cancel 1 week prior to arrival for a full refund, and for bookings with more than 2 cabins, cancellations will be required 2 weeks prior to arrival for a full refund.
