Our charming two bedroom cottage enjoys a rustic and peaceful location. Enjoy nature with walks on our organic farm and biking on nearby routes. Scenic rivers, lakes, and historic covered bridges are just a few miles away. We are close to several parks, hiking trails through the woods and a free public disc golf course on Dexter lake. Access to ski resorts and winter sports, natural hot springs are an hour away in the breathtaking Cascade mountains. Fully updated for comfort and relaxation. The space Cozy and freshly updated, furnished with a comfortable couch for lounging in front of the fire. The bedrooms feature restful, high quality queen-sized beds. Ten minutes from attractions in nearby Eugene, just an hour’s drive to either rugged coast or mountains. Guest access Attractive outdoor spaces surrounding the cottage, large backyard-porch area to enjoy the shade of our large maple tree. Access to sheep pastures, orchards, and a context of historic barns and buildings. Other things to note We do not use the harmful chemicals used in many commercial pesticides and herbicides on our organic farm. We use safe products like dish soap and borax to prevent and treat pests. We find that careful and thorough cleaning is the best recipe to rid ourselves of ants and other small pests . Guests are encouraged to let us know if pests become present and we will employ measures to control them without noxious poisons.
