Lovely Sultan River Cottage

Visit our quiet oasis in Sultan, fronting on the Sultan River. Listen to the soothing river under towering cedars on a full acre of forest. Toast marshmallows over the riverside campfire, view spawning salmon, or watch the birds and deer from the patio. Fish the Sultan, Skykomish or Snohomish rivers, and there are a myriad of hiking trails and scenic roads throughout the area. Evergreen Fairground/Racetrack in Monroe is only 8 miles west, Stevens Pass is 44, SEATAC airport is 50. The space The house is located in a quiet neighborhood two miles from downtown Sultan. You'll enjoy the comfort and beauty of this modern house, with its 3 bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with two twin beds. All the furniture is new and very comfy. The TV has Netflix and Prime Video , and there's an Echo Dot music player, a fully equipped kitchen, and a Jacuzzi tub in one of the two bathrooms. The dining room accommodates six guests, on the patio you will find an outdoor table and six chairs to enjoy the sound of the river, there's also another table and chairs near the private riverside fire pit. The house is on a full acre of cedar and fir forest, with flower gardens lining the path to the welcoming fire pit and refreshing swimming hole. Watch deer, hummingbirds, salmon and eagles from our cozy home, and other natural environments are only a short distance away. Seattle - 40 miles, 50 minutes SEA-TAC - 50 miles, 1 hr Leavenworth - 80 miles, 1 1/2 hr Stevens Pass - 44 miles, 55 minutes Snoqualmie Falls - 37 miles, 53 minutes Everett - 25 miles, 35 minutes Guest access You will have access to the entire house including the lovely loft with its balcony, there is ample parking for up to 4 cars in front of the house . Other things to note Red Apple grocery store is about 5 minutes away, they have all the basics and bundled firewood. Monroe with larger stores is only six miles further. Since the house is on a septic tank there's no washer/dryer, but the Sultan Laundromat is not far away. It's on Highway 2 just west of the bridge, in the same strip mall as the Coffee Box that makes milkshakes. (BTW, they have a great espresso milkshake.) Two miles of forested riverside trails maintained by the Sultan Parks Department are only a 15 minute walk away.
