Winniebrook is a beautiful mountain farmstead* set amongst the rolling hills of the Western Catskills. Take in the majesty of the night sky (you'll spot the Milky Way on a good night). Just minutes from the adorable towns of Andes, Delhi (with golf) & Margaretteville. Less than 40 min to 2 ski mountains. *Not Active The space You'll have the chance to enjoy the amenities of a century old farmhouse that rests on a setting fit for film. With a 150 year old barn, stables, and a beautiful mountain stream that separates the buildings, connected by wooden bridges. The house has 6 total rooms, including one on the main level, a spacious dining room that comfortably seats 12, a country kitchen that overlooks the estate and a great room designed for nighttime comfort. Winniebrook does not operate as an active farm. Guest access Guests can access almost all aspects of the property, including the stables, stables and nearly the entirety of the house. Guests can take a stroll throughout the property and can access designated hiking trails just a short drive away. The attic, detached garage and the inside of the barn (for your safety) are off limits to guests. Unfortunately, the greenhouse is "not-in-bloom" at the moment, since we are not there full time to maintain the plants. Other than that, the house is is as you see in the photos! Guests should just be mindful to remain within the boundaries of Winniebrook's property. For peace of mind, please note that we do not permit guests or anyone to hunt on our property. Other things to note Winniebrook is within 40 minutes of Belleayre and Plattekill Ski mountains. Delhi has a gorgeous golf course for the golfers out there. There are beautiful parks and waterfalls a short drive away, including Minekill Falls. There is no cellular service, but there is high speed wifi. No hunting or hunting parties are allowed at Winniebrook. There are two wood-burning stoves, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. Please notify us if you plan on using these so we fan share important instructions. Per Airbnb’s recommendation, we do require guests have at least one review to book. If that’s not you, may still reserve with a deposit OR you can ask a member of your party that has a review to book. Dogs are welcome under certain circumstances. Please inquire.
