Description of the Space There are bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors with one flight of stairs. Each bedroom has two sets of cotton sheets, cotton blanket, velour blanket, down alternative blanket, quilt and extra sham pillow. There is a power cord on each nightstand for charging mobile devices. Downstairs Bedroom - Queen size memory foam bed, two nightstands, two bedside lamps, clock radio, armoire and luggage rack. Upstairs Bedroom 1 - Queen size memory foam bed, two nightstands, two bedside lamps, closet, dresser, chair, end table, clock radio and luggage rack. Upstairs Bedroom 2 -Full size memory foam bed, dresser, two nightstands, two bedside lamps, clock radio, closet, chair and luggage rack. The upstairs has a a bathroom with a shower, toilet, medicine cabinet and vanity. The linen closet has plenty of bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. Shampoo, cream rinse, hand soap, bath soap, toilet paper and a hair dryer is provided. The first floor has a full bathroom, eat in large kitchen, TV room, living room with desk to provide plenty of space for dining in, relaxing and working. The downstairs bathroom has full tub with shower, vanity, toilet, small storage cabinet, medicine cabinet and linens. Shampoo, cream rinse, hand soap, bath soap and toilet paper are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishware and glassware. Appliances include a full size refrigerator, range, range hood, coffee maker, coffee press, coffee grinder, microwave, mixer and blender. There is a bar table and 2 bar stools which is a great breakfast spot. Also provided is a lobster pot, picks and crackers. Cooking oil and basic spices are provided. Guests may use the washer and dryer in the kitchen. The TV room has a comfortable futon couch, coffee table, tray tables and an entertainment console. There is a smart ROKU TV, DVD player and speakers. The TV receives local network channels and public broadcasting. Tech savvy guests can stream Netflix and Hulu or access your own premium subscriptions services that you enjoy at home. There is a second living room downstairs that can be arranged depending on your needs. For those that work remotely, a desk and desk chair is available with room limited seating. For those that prefer a lounge area, we can provide a more traditional seating pattern with couch. High speed internet with WiFi is provided. Internet speed is 100Mbps. The deck has a patio table with umbrella and patio chairs. Grill is available during the summer months. A mature, well behaved dog is allowed for an additional fee of $15 per night with a maximum of $75 per stay subject to certain house rules. Please contact us before booking if you are bringing a dog. No cats are allowed. Guests may use the whole house. Guests are also welcome to roam the grounds of the farmstead which includes gardens, an apple orchard, chicken house, pigeon coop, duck coop, crow aviary and walks through through 40 acres of forested trails. Room for parking two cars across from the kitchen door and patio. We respect the privacy of our guests. If there is a question, a quick text or Airbnb in app message will summon us for a quick response. Guest comfort is our top priority! Ellsworth Falls is five minutes from Downtown by car and a twenty minute walk along the walk/bike trail. We own six houses on Falls Court and North Street with a church in the middle. The back yards of all the houses are adjacent to each other making the entire farmstead quite large. We also own the forested area beyond the lawn area that has trails throughout. Friends and Family Market is a great spot to pickup groceries, .2 miles away. The Dorr Lobster and Seafood Market is right across the street for fresh fish, lobster rolls and will steam lobsters for you! Downtown is quick drive, bike or twenty minute walk for great dining, entertainment and shopping. Ellsworth is a good place to stay so that you can visit many different areas all within a reasonable driving distance. It is a central jumping off point for day trips to the Acadia area (Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park), the Blue Hill Peninsula (Blue Hill, Deer Isle and Stonington) and points Downeast along the Bold Coast. Any direction you go from Ellsworth, has lots to do and see. If you are staying in Ellsworth for work, the Ellsworth hospital and new Jackson Laboratory facility are only moments away by car.
