Chalet Scandinavian is a chalet in Orford, Quebec, part of the Chalets Hygge collection — six renovated chalets within the peaceful Cheribourg community. Sleeps up to eight. You're surrounded by nature but never isolated: trails, restaurants, boutiques, and the villages of the Eastern Townships are all minutes away. The space Ideal for couples, small families, or a group of friends, the chalet is warm and inviting year-round: a wood-burning fireplace, large windows that flood the interior with natural light, and a fully equipped kitchen make it easy to settle in and stay a while. In summer, the surrounding mature forest keeps the chalet naturally cool, and a wall-mounted mini-split provides air conditioning for warmer nights. A private outdoor space with a BBQ and gas grill extends your living area into the trees. Sleeping arrangements: • The ground floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed; • The second bedroom on the second floor has a queen-sized bed • The third bedroom on the second floor has a double bed. Guest access The house and all that is in it is fully accessible to our guests with the exception of one storage closet on the 2nd floor where we store our items. Other things to note Good to know before you book: • The chalet has steep interior stairs — please factor this in if traveling with young children or guests with limited mobility. • The property is not childproofed (no cabinet locks, socket covers, or baby gates) and does not supply cribs, high chairs, or pack 'n plays. • Guests with pet allergies should note that pets are permitted in this chalet. • Parking for 2–3 vehicles in the private driveway.
