Tamarca Hollow, A Nature Retreat

Escape the noise of your everyday world at our National Wildlife Federation Certified Habitat! Your space is a 700 sf, 1 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath area above (exterior stairs) our garage. We have a gravel, long, steep driveway (AWD\FWD ARE RECOMMENDED) & we’re tucked in down at the bottom of a 10 acre forest. No internet, wifi or tv service, but we guarantee you a better connection to nature! Unplug, disconnect and take in, savor the magick that is Tamarca Hollow! The space ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY! Additional sleeping space on the Queen sofa sleeper (has a inflatable mattress) and a twin rollaway. Linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner and body washes are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need! Firewood for your firepit/grill is provided. There is a tv with lots of dvd movies. Ask us about setting up a movie screen/projector and enjoy a movie outside on your deck (small additional fee). Your stay includes simple fresh breakfasts, ie: homemade muffins, scones, local farm eggs, homemade waffles, cereal, oatmeal, granola, fruit, yogurt (toppings), juice, home roasted coffee, local teas or cocoa. However, be advised that we are 30 minutes to any town & you may want to bring any other necessities you may need. Guest access Guests can feel free to explore anywhere on the property, except our house. There is wonderful seating/lounging down in the sanctuary area at our creeks, Adirondack chairs, hammocks, two person swing and access to this secluded hidden gem is via a well worn trail thru our forest. We are a National Wildlife Federation Certified Habitat. We are guests in this forest and take great pride in ensuring the protection of all wildlife and habitats. If you are uncomfortable with any wildlife during your stay please advise us so we can assist with removing any critter from your space. Your cooperation in doing no harm to any creature is much appreciated! Other things to note We are quite remote! No city/town services such as trash pick up, water/sewer etc. We have a well with delish cold water, a septic system (not flushing sanitary items is greatly appreciated). We do offer a small menu of simple supper (large salads or crock pot meals with homemade bread) items available for you to enjoy upon check in. Perfect for late arrivals and for those who don’t get to a store before coming out! Message us for selections, dietary restrictions & prices. Otherwise Plan ahead!!!
