Located just 3 hours from Portland, and less than 1.5 hours from Eugene, Diamond Peaks Retreat is a great place to escape with your family and friends! Perfect for exploring central OR! The space We love escaping to the mountains and we are so glad to be able to share our home away from home with you and your family. When you are not relaxing with all the comforts of home, endless outdoor adventure awaits in nearby Willamette Pass, Crescent Lake, Deschutes National Forest, and more! Crescent Lake is a prime location for skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, boating, paddle boarding, mountain biking trails, hiking, snowshoeing... all minutes from your front door. When you are finished playing outdoors, come back and soak in the outdoor hot tub while taking in mountain views and starry skies. Numerous windows and a vaulted living room/dining room takes advantage of natural lighting. A large open kitchen welcomes you to prepare feasts with all the amenities of home, including a Keurig. The chalet has a 1st floor master with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a large loft with twin bunk beds. All bedrooms feature queen beds with cotton sheets and hypoallergenic bedding. When its not full of snow, a large deck provides covered outdoor seating and panoramic mountain views. Internet and phone: We finally have high speed wifi! Streaming from Netflix, Amazon, etc. can be done with your login on our SmartTV. Cell phone reception varies greatly, with Verizon having the best coverage. A landline is provided for emergencies. The paved streets in the neighborhood are regularly plowed. Do not let our paved driveway fool you, you will likely require 4WD or All-Wheel Drive in the winter. The driveway is plowed frequently, but we average over 10’ of snowfall annually. Street parking is not permitted. Guests will not have to access to the garage on site.
