The space This cabin, owned by a retired army officer and his wife, is known as "Patriot Dream". It has been COMPLETELY REBUILT in 2023 into a uniquely stunning and spectacular layout with these features: tiled showers, a jetted tubs, commercial washer/dryer, outdoor kitchen and picnic viewing area under a gazebo, a four season room with a library and a mountain view, parking for four cars on a concrete pad, and a fireplace and commercial sleeper sofa in Great Room. It is relatively close to the park entrance to Cade's Cove, Gatlinburg via the bypass, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and much more. This getaway is perfect to relax and unwind after enjoying hiking the Smokies or attending the many shows shows. We have vacationed in hundreds of spots. We picked this location to buy, after we rented it ourselves, because it has stunning views and is close to civilization. We have completely rebuilt it into "rustic luxury" from top to bottom. The wraparound porch has a covered hot tub, perfect even on rainy days. There is a commercial grade sleeper sofa in the Great Room, a great gas fireplace and the loft functions as third bedroom. There are Jetted tubs in the top bathroom, the bottom floor has extra-wide doors and a handicapped-friendly shower. The bedrooms celebrate America, and there are upgraded furnishings throughout. A high capacity washer and dryer, a gourmet kitchen and ultra-fast WiFi and TV package with ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu for live TV and additional movies. There are cheaper options, but few indeed will give you this combination of view, accessibility, cleanliness, luxury, and comfort. Before this cabin was rebuilt to be even better from 2022 to 2023, it had a 4.98 rating. It is now even better than it was. Guest access You have access to a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with toaster, gas range, microwave, refrigerator with Ice Maker, George Foreman grill, complete stainless steel cookware and complete utensils, commercial washer and dryer, iron, gas operated fireplace (in season), cable television, wi-fi, and a full wraparound outdoor TREX deck with Hot Tub, a Gazebo, upper balconies with viewing benches, and an amazing outdoor kitchen with picnic area and a stunning view. There is space for a medium trailer, as well. Other things to note Wears Valley is known as the "Quiet Side of the Smokies" and gives you access to side roads that can cut your travel time by two thirds in high season. The amenities in this cabin can be (and are) are first class, because our wonderful guests are first class and treat the place as they would their own home. Pawpaw's Catfish is the closest restaurant and is quite popular. It has an authentic New Orleans menu. When you get down the mountain to Wear's Valley, turn left, and it will be on your left in half a mile. Elvira's is several miles in the other direction, and is a breakfast and lunch spot with a delicious menu. Both Pawpaw's and Elvira's are truly home cooking and favorites with locals.
