Walk right onto Sheperd's Trail, curated by Duke University, from the back yard. 2 miles to Duke Hospital. 3 miles to downtown Durham. The space Private, secluded, quiet and beautiful loft apartment in Duke Forest. Be in the forest but close to everything Durham has to offer! Small kitchenette with microwave, K-cup coffee maker, smart tv with Roku apps. Shepard's Trail in the back yard for a wonderful stroll in nature. Please note that Shepherd’s Trail is closed Monday through Friday September 15th through December 15th each year for deer thinning. It is open normal hours on weekends, however, during this time. Guest access Private entrance, private deck for guests. Please follow the path to the left of the garage to find the stairs to the apartment. The lock box is located on the hand rail next to the front door. Other things to note Also, please let us know if you would like additional maid services in advance for longer stays (a week or more) and we can make arrangements with our cleaning service. Please let us know if you need this service. This will include change of all towels and linens as well as a full cleaning of the room. Also, there is a wonderful nature trail in back yard! Please look up Shepard's Trail, it is curated by Duke University.
