The Park Place House - Your Home Away from Home

The space The Park Place house is a one-bedroom/one-bath 1000 sq. ft. 1870’s Italianate house in the heart of Ithaca—your home away from home. The bedroom features a new queen memory foam bed fit for two. As an added bonus, the full-size couch is quite comfortable and can accommodate one more person. Centrally located, the house is the perfect spot to engage and explore. Newly renovated, The Park Place House offers a cozy destination for vacationers and business travelers alike. The spacious house is perfect for someone who enjoys spaces full of original detailing and character (hello, 10-foot ceilings, oversized windows, and original molding!). It is tastefully decorated with a mix of new designer pieces and carefully curated antiques. The kitchen is fully stocked with new full-size appliances, vintage CorningWare dishes, a complete cookware set, and all other basic cooking supplies you may need to prepare a chef-quality meal at home. And let’s not forget about the newly renovated spa bathroom with hand-painted shower tiles! With all these amenities, the only thing you’ll long for is more vacation days. And despite the home’s proximity to everything, the Park Place house still feels perfectly secluded in a quiet residential neighborhood. Grab a cup of coffee from the kitchen (on us) and enjoy nature sounds from the front porch—the perfect spot to relax and reset. There is no television in the property but we do have fast WIFI so you can use your own device if you desire. Guest access We truly aim to make the space feel like your home, so everything in the space is yours to use and enjoy. There is also a nice large front porch to enjoy. There is no access to the backyard, driveway, or basement. Other things to note The house has private access from the street and you'll have access to a private foyer, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. However, please note that the unit is on the second floor and is only accessible through stairs. We are open to longer-term renting November-February, please inquire with your requested dates. Pets: Strictly limited to one (1) house-trained dog, 35lbs or less. No Cats or other animals. Please take a look at the house rules and message us regarding your pet before booking. Thanks
