Relax and Refresh - Rockwood Cottage at Lake Tahoe

We are very excited to share Rockwood Cottage with you. It is a cozy, relaxing, home with modern touches and necessary gadgets to feel far away or stay totally connected. There is access and a beach on Lake Tahoe approximately 75 steps away and kayaks to enjoy the clear waters. We do not accept short term stays. Monthly stays welcome. The space Our two bedroom home with en suite full bathrooms is tucked away in a secluded area not too far from the hustle and bustle. It is a great place to cozy up in front of a fire and watch the sun set over the mountains. Front parking pad is heated. Rear parking space in carport with EV charger. Guest access There is a full kitchen with cookware, dishes, utensils and accessories. Dining room area with large table to host meals. Each room equipped with fireplaces, televisions, apple tv, cable and high speed WiFi throughout. Outdoor spaces include a deck with propane fire-pit and furniture out front and bbq with patio furniture in the backyard. Guest also have access to 32 amp electric car charger in the carport. Other things to note There is no air conditioning but we provide an evaporative cooler for the summer though typically the cottage is comfortable with windows (with screens) open and portable fans. Rockwood Cottage is a unique rustic lake house constructed over 75 years ago in a beautiful mountain environment filled with wildlife like spiders, squirrels and field mice. Please take that into account when booking our property and don’t leave exterior doors open for extended periods. We do our best to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
