We're located in White Lake, MI on 8 gorgeous private wooded acres with a 2 acre pond, a huge organic garden and all the nature you can handle! We are located on 8 private acres featuring woods, spacious well kept lawns and several gorgeous flower beds, a 2 acre pond, wet lands and meadow lands and also have a huge organic garden for everyone to enjoy (or weed, if the mood strikes you!) On the spacious deck you are totally surrounded by privacy and nature. Whether sitting out and having your morning coffee or relaxing with a glass of wine, you'll be up close and personal with the many varieties of song birds that visit our feeders. You can take advantage of our "catch and release" fishing for bass in our well-stocked pond (fishing poles provided!). We also have a badminton/volleyball and croquette set for a little extra fun and exercise. And of course there's walking along the trails in the woods as well as enjoying campfires and some'mores at our campfire site. In winter we are only a 5-minute drive to Alpine Valley Ski Resort if skiing is your thing! Inside, our guest house is stocked with many amenities not normally found in rentals such as memory foam mattress toppers, bed warmers, luxury bedding and fluffy towels. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, electric tea pot, French press, small Cuisinart blender and bread maker, good knives and pans and lots of beautiful dishes and stemware plus a reverse osmosis water filtering system. The entire guest house and its surrounding property are all yours to relax in, enjoy, explore and rejuvenate! We lived tucked away across the pond from the guest house and can be there in a matter of minutes if something needs our attention. Otherwise, we want you to enjoy the peace and solitude of 8 gorgeous private acres... Although Heron Pointe is a self-contained mini Paradise, we have privileges on an all sports like only 5 minutes away. This area includes a sandy beach, swim raft, playground equipment, picnic tables and grills, volley ball and basketball courts and a horse shoe pit! We have parking for about 6 cars in the circular driveway. And you pretty much need a car to get around...they don't call it the Motor City for nothing! We do accept well-behaved pets for a small additional fee.
