Swim or just relax in the sun! It is heated to 84 degrees year round. The salt water is very mild. It has no chlorine or harsh chemicals. It doesn't sting your eyes, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. All ten units share the large common backyard, which is entirely fenced in, creating a private vacation compound. Kids can run around freely with minimal supervision. The pool is protected by a child-resistant gate. Beach gear: We provide beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. You can rent umbrellas at some beaches. We do not provide snorkeling gear. Office desk & chair: work from home using the full-size office desk and reclining office chair with high back. Cooking: the kitchen is equipped for real cooking. There are sharp knives and Calphalon non-stick pots and pans. There is a large grocery store 0.6 miles away. Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request. Laundry: you'll have access to the laundry room, shared by all ten units. There are two washers and two dryers, and they are coin operated. Coffee: Keurig, and we provide the first 4 pods Nearby: a 24-hour convenience store, a gas station, several restaurants, and a large park are all within walking distance. This is an outside pool, it is not covered, and there is a tree above it. You can expect leaves to fall in the pool and on the patio/deck. We clean the pool three times a week, and if you want to clean out the leaves more frequently, we can provide a leaf scoop. (o) The TV gets local channels only. It is a Smart TV, so you can access Netflix, HBO or other streaming services. (o) The pool does not have a shallow end. It ranges from 3.5 to 7 feet (1.1 to 2.2 meters) deep. (o) Not good for people with allergies. Asthma, allergies, respiratory problems or hyper-sensitive to smells? This is an old apartment. It was built with lots of wood, it is surrounded by flowers and bushes, and it has had many experiences. If you have these conditions, it probably won’t be the right choice for you. (o) We only clean the grill every 90 days. For most guests it is enough to heat the grill up to sanitize it's but if you want a freshly cleaned grill, this is not the right choice for you. Generally speaking, if you heat it up to 400-500 degrees, it is completely sanitized. Then you brush it to get any remnants off of it. But it's really not possible to do more than that unless you just throw away the grill after every use and get a new one. (o) This is an old house and the unit is on the ground floor. Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult). (o) We clean ovens about every 90 days. For most guests heating the oven to 325F (160C) is enough to sterilize it after the previous guest. (o) All of our TVs (in all units) are 4K Smart TVs (mostly Samsung). They have apps preinstalled for Netflix, HBO, etc, and you can sign on to your own streaming accounts. We do not, however, have cable. Local channels are very limited. (o) The washers & dryers are reserved for the cleaners from 11am to 4pm. (o) We provide a Keurig coffee maker and four coffee pods to get you started on the first morning. (o) We no longer provide a drip (filter) coffee maker.
