Lakefront Log Cabin on Douglas lake. Close to local attractions, golf, fishing and much more. You can enjoy the beauty of the lake or go to Dollywood or many other local attractions and be there in 30-40 min. There are boat, pontoon, paddle board, jet ski and kayak rentals just minutes from the cabin. Bring your own and tie them up at our dock. This cabin has seasonal water early April to mid Sept. depending on rainfall. We have a private floating dock as long as we have water in the cove. New pergola deck near the water with picnic table and adirondack chairs. New walkway from the lower deck transitions the hill to the pergola. Also, newly added firepit! This cabin has been meticulously furnished and decorated with up scale furniture, beds and appliances. We have tried to make it feel like a home and not just a "rental". Our renters have commented time after time that it feels like a home away from home. We furnish bed linens, bath towels and wash cloths. Please bring your own beach towels for the lake. We also supply the little things so you don't have to worry about bringing them, like laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, coffee, sugar and some spices. The kitchen is well equipped with Calphalon cookware and most everything you would need to fix any meal. The gas grill on the deck is great place to watch the sun set over the lake while grilling your favorite meat or vegetables. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for you and your family. The deck wraps around two sides of the upper level and there is a screened in deck downstairs facing the lake. Watch the wildlife from the decks. Deer, eagles, blue herons and more. You will be comfortable no matter where you spend your time. The basement has a foosball table and large screen TV with a DVD player. Or play one of the board games for some good old fashioned "family time". Guests will have access to the entire house with the exception of a storage closet. This includes the laundry room with a front loading washer and dryer. We are available by phone, text or email for any issues or questions. The neighborhood has winding and hilly roads that make for great exercise while walking. For your security, we have installed three cameras outside the cabin. They are located outside the front and back doors and one points toward the driveway.
