ZenCapeTown Forest Retreat boasts a large jungle garden and private swimming pool. The newly renovated steel and wood interior has all the modern amenities whilst staying true to an authentic cabin-in-the-woods feel. Enjoy mountain views from wide verandahs, or refresh yourself in a natural spring pool. This stay is a real treat for the mind, body and soul. The space ZenCapeTown Forest Retreat is an open plan double story cabin style space. The bedroom is set on a mezzanine level with a lovely wide balcony in the tree tops. The room has a stunning skylight view on tall palms.The kitchen and lounge are one space, with comfy couches and a balcony for enjoying breakfast lunch and dinner and overlooking the forests and the natural spring pool. The Cabin has a desk and chair if you are working remotely or wanting to have a . The Cabin is about 50 meters squared so quite a small space but the large surroundings and lots of balconies make this a spacious holiday getaway. Be prepared for a small staircase to the bedroom and the swimming pool is a natural spring so frogs and fish will be your friends. We have an inverter to assist through load shedding so you will always have lights, internet, tv and laptop power cable. Hi energy appliances will be useable when load shedding finishes and it usually does not exceed 2 hours at a time. Guest access Guests can check themselves in via the lockbox located at the entrance. We have offstreet parking inside the property. The area is very safe and monitored by cctv cameras in the streets throughout our neighbourhood. The local security company patrols and monitors the cameras. We are a kilometer up the mountain from the beach, local restaurants and shopping centers. Hout Bay has everything you would need for a comfortable holiday escape. We do recommend hiring a car when you are in Cape Town. Our transport system is not setup like in Europe and going to some popular destinations will not be possible with public transport.
