Michie Shire is a privately owned property in Lexington, VA. Just 3 miles from the center of town and the campuses of VMI and W&L University. It includes 17 rolling acres with a lovingly restored 1930's farmhouse. The house is 1800 sq feet plus a semi-finished basement. Amazing views of the Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains can be seen from the wraparound porch. There is as little to do or as much as you'd like to do locally and in the surrounding area. We know you'll enjoy your stay! Guests may text or call host if needed for questions, concerns or updates . We keep our phones handy! We also have wonderful neighbors who are very familiar with the property and are available to assist if needed. We have some wonderful neighbors who enjoy being in a small town and having some space to breathe! Many have live there all their lives and appreciate the quiet of the country. There is parking under the pole barn behind the house. The TV is set up currently to access only online streaming such as Amazon, Netflix, Pandora, etc. The TV and the Rokku Box must be turned on to view selections.
