Galini Vines is an ideal stone-built Corfu house for those looking to experience authentic Corfu village life. The house is set all on one level in the village of Petalia Corfu, within walking distance to local tavernas and an hour from Corfu airport.The property is in the Village of Petalia, with sunny terraces all day long. Petalia Village is rarely affected by any heat waves, and you will notice that you will probably still need a blanket during the summer nights. The landlord will invite you during the winemaking period (September/October) to join in with the festivities, and sample the local wine taking part in the winemaking practices. Those practices date back to Antiquity and were transferred from father to son throughout the ages (with some adaptations, of course). Heating is available at an additional cost of €10 per day, payable directly to the owner. Guests can choose to use this service.
