Welcome to the Fox Den Suite at Tanglewood Farm! The Fox Den is a private one bedroom (KING) , one bathroom beautifully decorated apartment on our beautiful 10 acre horse farm. Nestled in the heart of North Carolina's beautiful horse county, just minutes from charming downtown Southern Pines. This is a private apartment that offers a luxurious king size bed, master bath, living room with couch, kitchen with bar seating, and patio on a 10.5 acre horse farm in Southern Pines, NC. The suite is appointed with coffee & tea, microwave, small fridge, oven/stove, sink and utensils for cooking at home. Each of our vacation rental apartments offers a private entrance, bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom(s) and back patio access. No shared common areas with other guests! ✨ Announcement: A New Chapter at Tanglewood Farm ✨ Starting January 1, Tanglewood Farm will be transitioning from a traditional Bed & Breakfast to a short-term vacation rental. Guests can now enjoy private one-bedroom apartments — each with its own charm — and the freedom to relax, cook, and explore at their own pace. While our signature hot breakfasts will no longer be included or delivered to rooms, guests can still add fresh pastries, quiches, and other local treats to their stay during booking. We’re so grateful to everyone who has shared mornings and memories with us over the years. This new chapter brings a more flexible, self-guided experience — the same peaceful Tanglewood, just with a new way to stay. We can’t wait to welcome you! 🌿 We are dog friendly and we charge a $50 per pet fee, which is an option to add to your reservation upon booking. Nestled in the beautiful Sandhills Region of North Carolina, Tanglewood Farm is a working equestrian farm and vacation rental destination. The horse facility was once used as a US Olympic training facility, and is now primarily used as an eventing competition training farm. If you stay at Tanglewood Farm, you will most likely get the chance to witness some exciting jump training, as our farm is located next to many training facilities, including some owned by Olympic riders and trainers. Tanglewood Farm offers guests peaceful accommodations, breathtaking views of Southern Pines Horse Country and a quiet respite from everyday life. Take a stroll along the farm and observe the horses, chickens and other wildlife in their everyday routines, or relax with a glass of wine and a good book on a chaise lounge right outside your door. Spend the day enjoying the highlights of the Sandhills area, including Seagrove Pottery, Weymouth Center, the Pinehurst Harness Track. Shop for art and beautiful clothes in downtown Southern Pines and Pinehurst, go antiquing in Cameron, golfing at one of the hundreds of golf courses, or hiking at Weymouth Woods. End your night with a delicious meal at one of our many fine restaurants. Whatever the season, a myriad of activities await you in Southern Pines --North Carolina's best keep getaway secret! During your stay, enjoy fine dining at one of Moore County's gourmet restaurants in Southern Pines, Aberdeen and Pinehurst. The farm is just a three minute drive to the amazing restaurants of downtown Southern Pines. Try Red’s Corner (food truck/beer garden venue) Ashten's, Chef Warren's or 195 for some amazing locally grown goodness! Grab a local brew at The Bell Tree Tavern or The Sly Fox, and top off your night with some live music at The Wine Cellar. When you are ready to retire, curl up with a good book or DVD from your en-suite library and drift away to dreamland! Dog fee is $50 per dog. One-time, non-refundable. No Cats Please Children are welcome but must be closely attended at all times. The kiddos love feeding the chickens and watching them roam free around the farm! Please note, CHILDREN ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED WHILE OUT ON THE FARM AND NO RUNNING AROUND THE HORSES PLEASE Bringing your horse? We rent out stalls for $40/night, includes 2 bags of shavings. We ask that they do not enter the barns but Lindsay would be happy to show them the upper barn and introduce them to her horses and chickens. The rest of the horses are owned by private boarders. Dogs must be pre-approved and a $50 pet fee is required. Dogs must stay on leash while on the premises. Dogs MUST BE PRE-APPROVED before BOOKING.
