Wingate Farm, Countisbury is a recently renovated and refurbished holiday home set on a working 100-acre Exmoor hill farm, running sheep and Aberdeen Angus cattle. Sleeping up to 8 guests across three bedrooms, it offers an emperor bedroom with en-suite shower room, WC and basin, a twin bedroom sharing a family bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and basin, and a family room with a king bed plus bunk-beds. There's also a ground-floor WC with hand basin. The space The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and electric oven with hob, plus a dining table seating 8. The comfortable living room has a wood-burning stove and a 40-inch flat screen HD TV with Freeview, with a starter basket of logs provided. Central heating runs throughout, with heating and electricity costs included in the price. Superfast Starlink satellite wifi is provided, ideal for streaming and working. Extras include a travel cot, high chair, stair gates, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, with bed linen and towels supplied. Outside there is an enclosed, south-facing garden with a patio, picnic bench, four recliner chairs and a BBQ, surrounded by farm fields where children can play. The property is semi-detached, with the owners living next door and on hand if needed. Parking is available for three cars beside the property, with further space nearby if required. Dogs are welcome (maximum 4 per booking) at a charge of GBP 25 per dog, though they must be kept off the furniture and away from upstairs, and kept under control around livestock. The property is suitable for children, with an enclosed garden, cot, high chair and stairgates provided, but is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. This is a no-smoking property. At Christmas, a realistic tree with LED lights is provided, ready for guests to add their own decorations and enjoy dressing the cottage for the festive season.
