This spacious ~1,300 sq ft apartment is located inside of the original Kachina Village Fire Station built in 1970. The bedrooms and living room were the original garage bays that housed the fire engines. When the firehouse was expanded in the 90's the garage bays were relocated. This space was converted to the front office with meeting rooms & offices for the firefighters. The new owners completed the latest renovation in Dec. 2020, converting it into a living space that embraces its history. Appointed with pictures & other memorabilia donated by several firefighters who spent much of their tenure in the firehouse. The house is surrounded by mature pine trees in a quiet neighborhood. Pumphouse Wash is nearby, boasting beautiful views of the area & access to hiking & biking trails. The property is well situated to take advantage of Northern Arizona. You can reach Downtown Flagstaff in only 10-15 min, Oak Creek in approx 25 & Sedona in around 40. Also located nearby is Fort Tuthill county park home of the Flagstaff Snow Park, Flagstaff Extreme adventure park, Fort. Tuthill Bike park, Pepsi Amphitheater, the Overland Expo & many other events. Raymond County Park is just down the street - great for kids and adults alike! Also close by is Mountainaire Tavern, Flagstaff airport, a bird sanctuary and miles of trails and county roads for those looking to explore.
