The Retreat: 5 Acre Log Cabin

Escape to this beautiful 5-acre country retreat, located a short drive from Lauderdale Lakes, Alpine Valley, and Lake Geneva. The cabin features two kitchens, two family rooms, a year around outdoor hot tub, a game room, and five bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds. The master suite also includes a steam room for added luxury. Spend your days enjoying the great outdoors with a game of beach volleyball or roasting marshmallows around a bonfire, while taking in the fresh midwestern air. The space This gorgeous country retreat boasts a range of luxurious amenities for your enjoyment. The lower level features a home theater with an 80" flat screen TV, as well as indoor shuffleboard, ping-pong, foosball, and board games. There's also a second kitchen on this level, in addition to an indoor recreation room with a treadmill. Upstairs, you'll find a master bedroom with a 60" curved TV and a steam shower in the en-suite bathroom. The main living room features a cozy gas fireplace, and the front and rear decks offer plenty of outdoor seating and a fire pit for entertaining or relaxing. There's even a full-sized beach volleyball court on the property. When you're ready to unwind, soak in the deluxe 10-jet hot tub or roast s'mores around the campfire. All of this is set on 5 acres of serene countryside, surrounded by beautiful natural sites. During the winter you are five minutes from Alpine Ski Resort. Alpine Valley Resort is an all-season resort, located in the Town of Lafayette, Walworth County, Wisconsin. Southwest of Milwaukee, it has a golf course and alpine skiing; its longest run is 3,000 feet in length. Guest access An access code will be texted to guests the day of check-in. However, because of tight turnaround times with reservations, no early access or late checkout will be granted without prior approval from the host. Other things to note We truly enjoy welcoming guests to The Retreat and take pride in offering a warm, comfortable, and beautifully maintained retreat. To help preserve the home for all who stay, we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines: Check-In & Check-Out Check-in begins at 3:00 PM Check-out is by 12:00 PM (Noon) Smoking The Retreat is a non-smoking home. If you choose to smoke outdoors, please dispose of all materials properly to help keep the grounds pristine. Hot Tub Care The hot tub is provided for your enjoyment. Please treat it with care. Any damage to the tub or cover may result in charges up to the full replacement cost. If excessive debris or misuse requires draining and deep sanitation, a minimum $250 cleaning fee will apply. Pet Policy We allow a maximum of one dog with a $50 pet fee. Service animals are exempt from the pet fee; however, any excessive pet hair or damage caused by any dog, including a service animal, may result in an additional cleaning or repair charge. Departure Courtesy Before departure, we appreciate your help with the following: • Load and run the dishwasher • Place used towels on tile floors or in bathtubs to protect the wood • Dispose of all garbage in the outdoor bins Wi-Fi Network: TheRetreat!
