Calm Waters is a laid back, pet friendly, waterfront resort consisting of 6 fully self contained 2 & 3 bedroom cottages that sit tranquilly on the waters edge of the Inlet. Built in the 1940s originally as Fisherman's cottages, they have been lovingly and respectfully restored to ensure guests have all the modern necessities including air con and free Wi-Fi while maintaining their period features including polished hardwood floors. Arguably the best location and vista in Sussex Inlet! The space No. 5 Calm Waters is a 2 bedroom free standing cottage with water views. It is fully self contained with a well equipped kitchen, dining table and chairs, generous lounge area, private bathroom and covered private verandah. No.5 has small outdoor fenced area directly off the deck for pets to access. The cottage is stocked with essential consumables including tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels, linen, toilet paper... Guests are asked to bring their own beach and bath towels. Alternatively a towel package is available for a small additional cost. Please message if you would like to include this package. Calm Waters is ideally situated on the waters edge with private jetty and moorings and is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to enjoy the relaxing and rejuvenating effects of the sea. Sit on your private verandah enjoying a drink or reading a book and let the gentle sea breeze wash over you. Take a stroll along the pedestrian path into town (approx 200m walk) or head down to the water and spend the afternoon fishing off the resort's private jetty. If you wish to bring a boat please contact us at your time of booking so we can reserve a mooring for your use during your stay. Being animal lovers we understand that leaving your pets behind when you go on holidays can be heartbreaking and worry-some which is why Calm Waters is a pet-friendly property, allowing one pet per cottage. Please note that there may be other pets and guests staying at the property during your stay and we ask that all pets remain under the control of their owners at all times. :) Cottage No.5 features a small, fenced outdoor area adjacent to the cottage, ideal for a small pet. Please note, this space has its own gated entrance and is not directly accessible from inside the cottage. Calm Waters is a popular destination for family gatherings or groups of up to 26 people. Guest access The property features a shared laundry with washing machine, laundry tub and dryer and portable BBQs that guests can use throughout their stay. There are large grassed areas between the buildings with tables and chairs that guests can make use of. Please note that the entrance to the property is not fenced; fencing is only present between the cottages and the inlet.
