Walk across the street to the Greenway Trail and stroll the 1 mile of gorgeous views to the beach or take a 1.5 mile walk to downtown Madison. Hammonasset Beach boasts 2 gorgeous miles of white sandy beach to relax, explore & enjoy! This property has 2 separate airbnb rentals on it... one is the main house that sleeps 8, and then this newly renovated, fully equipped carriage house apartment which is 50ft from the main house, has a private entrance and is located on the second floor. The only space shared between the 2 buildings is the driveway; you will have your own entrance, private outdoor patio set and fire-pit area. Relax and enjoy your stay!" The Greenway Trail across the street gives easy access to Hammonasset Beach by foot or bicycle. If going by car is easier, there is parking right by the beach in the park. The Greenway Trail will also take you towards Downtown Madison which is 1.5 miles. The trail ends about 1/4 mile before reaching downtown and Rte 1 is a busy road, so parents with small children might find it best to go by car.
