If you head south, you will arrive in Pula, where there are many monuments from the past, such as the Roman amphitheatre. To the north are picturesque medieval towns, such as Motovun, where an international film festival is held every year at the end of July. Visit the nearby Uka Nature Park, where you can enjoy the extraordinary nature adorned with many protected and rare animal and plant species.
