The space "Villa Teranga" is a charming villa that is located in the residence of the "Jardins de Popenguine" 150 meters from the beach of Saly, a seaside resort on the "small coast" of Senegal. Enjoying an exceptional climate at all times of the year, the "small coast" will allow you to spend a very pleasant holiday in paradise just a 5h30 flight from Brussels. Since December 7, 2017, your arrival at the brand new international airport of Dakar “Blaise Diagne” will allow you to reach your villa in less than 45 minutes thanks to a private shuttle service that we will organize at your request. Very little formalities for Senegal: Since then, only passport is required. No visa necessary (passport must be valid 6 months after the return date) The pool of the residence with tropical shapes is the ideal place to rest in the sun or in the shade of the palms and bougainvillea. The restaurant/snack bar by the pool allows you to have an aperitif and feast on a friendly menu. In the evening, the atmosphere of this restaurant offers a romantic setting ... with its tables by the illuminated pool…. And all this less than 50 metres from your villa! The beautiful beach is only a three minute walk from your home and the very warm and respectful welcome of the Senegalese people will delight you from the first moments. Everyone speaks French here in Senegal! During your stay, our housekeeper will be exclusively at your disposal for the various household tasks (making the beds, cleaning the villa, doing the dishes of the day/the day before, preparing lunch and at your request the evening meal, shopping, washing your laundry, etc.). And this is daily (except on Sundays, which is its well-deserved day of rest!). A gardener discreetly takes care of the daily maintenance of the flowers, trees, and lawn in your private garden. We also provide (subject to payment of the ride) a private taxi driver who can, depending on your needs, take you where you like (supermarket, restaurant, bank, local market) and also organize excursions to the (half) -day or several days if you wish. The residence offers a very quiet atmosphere because it mainly houses French, Belgian and Swiss owners/tenants. Where everyone says hello and is friendly very quickly thanks to the French spoken by all. This calm is ensured by a guard service (24/24 Hr) located at the 3 entrances of the estate as well as by night patrols ensuring the tranquility of everyone. For meals, you can choose between enjoying your favorite dishes in the garden of your villa (prepared by your housekeeper or yourself) or enjoying the many nearby restaurants located on the beach or in the village. Afterwards, take a well-deserved nap in the deckchairs of your private garden or in the residence's private beach. Our challenge is that you can have a wonderful stay without any worries thanks to the exceptional and personal service that is offered to you. That's it!!! Pets are allowed, please be responsible and pick up their needs both at the property and at the residence. The villa is non-smoking. Follow this instruction. You can smoke outside. Do not throw away your butts, respect the environment. The gardener: Very discreetly, he will take full care of the maintenance of your garden. The garden of your villa is maintained every day by the gardener (except on Sundays which is its day of rest). It will be the same gardener throughout your stay. Normally you don't have to worry about his work because he's very professional. However, he will appreciate you offering him a small glass of water to cool down as he is not allowed to enter the villa. - The housekeeper's name is Anna. She will be your personal and exclusive housekeeper for the duration of your stay. She is there to make your daily life easier to make your stay even more enjoyable. It takes responsibility for the maintenance and proper management of your villa. Helpful and kind, Anna will ask you what you love, will be discreet among you and adapt to your lifestyle. You are asked to respect it in all respects of its function. If you have any feedback/questions please feel free to speak to them calmly and respectfully. Every day she will take care of: Dresser & Unpack the breakfast table Make the dishes (day and the day before) Make the beds and change the bedding if long stays. Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room Prepare lunch* (according to your culinary desires) Do any laundry (washing powder at your expense) Prepare the evening meal, if you like (you'll just have to warm it up) Shop at the shop / market (the cost of the taxi is your responsibility)No matter what it actually is, his salary is included in the rental price and cannot be adapted in any way! Please note that, for management and responsibility reasons, his presence is required at least twice a week. She will normally have the same meal as you at noon. But it's up to you to let her eat discreetly or invite her to your table. If you went on a day trip or tour, please allow her to have lunch (lunch) with the food available in the villa. Or pay them for their meal at the canteen of the residence staff (700 cfa or about €1). Anna will also advise you on any local questions - Parties, birthdays, bucumber, etc., are prohibited. The residence is a peaceful oasis, respect it by avoiding unwanted noises between 9: 00 p.m. and 7: 00 a.m.
