My detached cottage is located in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private property of 8000m2 with its own driveway of 200m. The secluded house has no neighbors. You are 100% alone and on your own in the huge garden with fruit and nut trees. Directly from the driveway, you can explore the landscape and the charming villages. The house is not far from the beaches, national parks, castles and medieval towns. The charming cottage is very suitable for lovers of nature and tranquility. The space The cottage is secluded, and you are alone here: no owner or neighbors to disturb you. Because the 18th-century cottage is located directly in the green fields and hills in a beautiful French landscape, you can relax undisturbed in and around the cottage. In the large romantic garden, you will encounter deer, hares, owls and wild boars. After a day in French nature and culture, you can retreat to the cottage to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet by the wood stove or on the covered terrace. Visit the world-famous Mont Saint-Michel: the monastery and medieval town on the island, Avranches with its castle, cathedral and relics, the sandy beaches of Jullouville and Granville, the Chateau de Caen, the Omaha D-Day beaches and museums, the Parc Naturel Normandie-Maine, the Bayeux carpet, the medieval towns of Domfront, St Malo, Fougères and Falaise. In the surrounding villages, you will find markets with local delicacies, flea markets and cozy French restaurants serving Norman cuisine. The cottage itself is simple, but charming and equipped with every comfort. It has a living room with equipped kitchen, a large bedroom on the first floor, a second small bedroom on the ground floor, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a large covered terrace. There is electricity and hot (drinking) water, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning in the rooms via a heat pump, a wood stove, a washing machine, a gas stove with oven and a fridge with freezer. Bed linen and towels, gas, wood, water and electricity are included in the price. Guest access You have full access to the house and grounds, and you can drive your car up the driveway and park in front of the house.
