Easily accessible is Dalby Forest with its 9 mile scenic drive and an award-winning visitor centre. The North York Moors Steam Railway offers a step back in time and a leisurely way to enjoy the scenery. Departing from Pickering (10 miles) it passes through Goathland and Grosmont on its way to Whitby, with its stunning coastline and ancient abbey.
