The cottage which dates back to 1868 was formerly a barn which has been converted into two dwellings and has been fully modernised and refurbished. There is a handy drying room with washing/drying facilities, drying racks for wet gear and a wash basin. The village boasts a shop, three pubs serving bar meals and a restaurant all within walking distance and all accept pets. Keswick is only two miles away where you will find an abundance of amenities and visitor attractions. You can walk from the door in Braithwaite and there are some of the best mountain bike tracks in Whinlatter forest. There are fell views from the bedroom windows.
