Ashburton is a vibrant market town and a perfect base for families and friends to explore the stunning Dartmoor National Park and the south Devon coast. There is no need to leave Ashburton except for the odd day trip to a sandy beach or to explore Dartmoor. Everything is on your doorstep from groceries (Ela’s artisan bakery; Dartmoor butchers; The Fish Deli; The Arc with organic foods. Entertain yourself at the Arts Centre in the evening after a lovely vegetarian/vegan supper in the foyer cooked by Rafiki’s restaurant.
