227D - La Two Story Home, 1 Block from the Beach, Fireplace, Hillside Views Other things to note Welcome to 227 Descanso Ave - Avalon Home This is a great two story vacation home located only a block from the beach, and it only has three steps up to the front Dutch door on the side of the home. The first floor offers a spacious open floor plan with a living room area, dining table for six, a breakfast bar with stools facing the kitchen, as well as a half bath and laundry area near the back entrance. You will also find a 46-inch flat panel TV with Blu-Ray DVD player and a gas fireplace for those cool island evenings. All three bedrooms are on the second floor. The master bedroom suite, with a king bed and ¾ bath, also has a 42-inch flat panel TV and Blu-Ray DVD player, as well as French doors that open to an outdoor deck offering hillside views. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 31-inch flat panel TV, the third bedroom has bunk beds, a single bed with a trundle and a 31-inch flat panel TV, plus there is a ¾ bath in the hall. Since there is carpet on the steps and the second floor of the home, please leave your shoes just inside the front or back entrance upon entering. FREE wireless internet! (There is a studio apartment attached to the rear of the house that has a year-round resident.) 227D This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).
