Our Smoky Mountain View is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful resort. When looking for our home away from home, we encountered many resorts with scary roadways. You will not have that problem at Legacy. Legacy Mountain Resort roadways are wide, paved and well maintained. You will ascend the mountain in a zig zag pattern. You will go up in one direction and then go around a switchback and then go up in the other direction. Enter the cabin into the stunning full galley kitchen where you will be welcomed by stainless steel appliances, cement tile floors and all the conveniences of home. The kitchen opens up to the dining room. The handsome dining room table has seating for six. The living room and dining room have beautiful hard wood floors. You can enjoy a nice book while curled up the leather furniture in the living room in front of the electric stack stone fireplace in the living room. Take note of all the little personal touches the owner has utilized to decorate in every corner. The living room and dining room look out over the breathtaking views of Mt. LeConte. On this floor is a master suite with its own private bathroom. "Our Smoky Mountain View" is the first house you come to on the left on the street. It's bedroom windows face east. Wherever you choose to sleep in this cabin, you will awake to a spectacular view. You will be greeted every morning with a beautiful Smoky Mountain Sunrise. One the upper level, you will find an open loft bedroom / game room. There is a full bath on this level with a stand-up shower and a separate Jetted tub. This bedroom has large glass floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the magnificent Smoky Mountain Views. From here, you can walk out onto the deck where there is a relaxing hot tub to soak in after all the days activities in the Gatlinburg or in Pigeon Forge. The kids will love the upper level. It has a small children's sleeping loft which is accessed by a ladder. Here they will enjoy their own little area. There is also a video game area on this level for the children to enjoy while you unwind after all your days activities. You will have access to every part of the home except the cabinet under the stairs where we keep supplies like light bulbs and batteries. There is space for 2 large cars or 3 small cars out front. There are about 2 1/2 steps leading into the cabin. Once inside, you will have everything you need on one level except for the hot tub. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen and king master suite on the main level. When booking, please include your email address. We do charge extra for any adult in your party over 4 adults. There will be an additional charge of $20.00 plus tax per adult in your group over 4 adults per night. Come experience everything that "Our Smoky Mountain View" has to offer. There is a one time pet fee per pet per stay. The owners do ask that you do not lower the temperature of the AC in the summer below 72. A note about the preauthorization for the soft hold on your credit card for the security deposit. You will be required to put a credit card on file with our property management software. AirBnB does not give us your credit card information, so we will need this information. If you use a credit card, there will be a soft hold on your credit card. If you use a debit card, the amount will actually come out of your bank account and held by your bank. We tell your bank to put the money back in when no damages or extra cleaning is needed about 5 days after your stay. Your booking will not be confirmed until you put a credit card on file with our property management software for the soft hold security deposit. Please do this ASAP. The soft hold will go into effect the day prior to your stay. Legacy Mountain Resort has an amenities center with a fireplace. There is no fire pit at the cabin. You are welcome to bring your own wood and have a fire up at the amenities center. There is a keyless entry system at "Our Smoky Mountain View".. No need to carry around a key or report to an office. We will be sending you a lot of emails about the cabin and the area. Please make sure we have the best email to use before, during and after your stay. "Our Smoky Mountain View" is located in the prestigious Legacy Mountain Resort. Legacy Mountain Resort has an amenities center at the very top of the mountain. The view from up there is amazing. You will have access to the fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, sauna and steam room. The seasonal outdoor pool is open Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day weekend. Car Necessary While at "Our Smoky Mountain View" you will experience comforts such as: 1. A Jacuzzi tub - May not be available during the summer months when our wells are at their lowest levels. 2. Outdoor hot tub - May not be available during the summer months when our wells are at their lowest levels. It has never happened when the well level was so low that we had to ask our guests not use the hot tub before. But it could be a possibility even though it is not probable. 3. Two spacious decks 4. Electric stone fireplace 5. Vaulted cathedral ceilings 6. Tongue and groove walls & ceilings throughout 7. Rustic yet elegant log furniture 8. Floor to ceiling glass windows 9. And in our opinion some of the best views of the Smoky Mountains.
